Mellow in Endacopia

Answer. You guide Mellow, a boy who has lost his eyes, mouth and hands. His original name is Rodger. The surgeon estimates him at about nine years old in the player-recorded dialogue; treat that as an in-world estimate.

The bedroom in the Steam screenshot is his: red rug, soccer ball, CRT. I use that shot on purpose so you can match the room to the soccer and computer puzzles.

The guardian-angel framing is how Wikipedia and the wiki describe the camera. You are not playing as Mellow's body in a normal way.

The desert-house and family scenes reveal the name. I spell it Rodger, matching the wiki, not Roger.
