Binary Code Puzzle
Spoilers. Steam discussion author MyCuh posts the binary string and its translation under UNDERGROUND BINARY TRANSLATION. This is a player-recorded hidden message, not an official numeric door password or a code for doors.exe.
- Normalize. Remove spaces and line breaks from the source bitstream; retain every 0 and 1.
- Decode. Split into eight-bit groups and convert each ASCII value to a character. The translation is Oh lord we love how you suffer.
- Keep puzzles separate. Do not enter this sentence in the saw box or Office phone; those use 471 and 277-5944.
How to read the message
The posted text starts 01001111 01101000 00100000: ASCII 79, 104 and 32, or O, h and a space. Some groups in the Steam post were pasted together; strip whitespace before splitting into eight-bit bytes.
The full text contains 30 bytes (240 bits). Its meaning is interpretive: it addresses a lord and celebrates suffering. It does not by itself establish who speaks or identify a new ending. The Office phone Morse hint is a separate secret.
Questions I keep seeing
What is the binary answer?
Oh lord we love how you suffer, decoded from the bitstream posted by MyCuh on Steam. It is hidden text, not an unlock password.
